What type of Fed is WWU?
We are a results fed. Results and storylines are here to help further your character in your RP's or social media. You play your character however you want to play them and wherever you want to play them. If you want to drop an RP, go for it. If you want to tweet go for it. If you just want to make a plotter and DM or PM me character ideas, go for it. You can be active as you want or you can sit back see how your character(s) unfold.
So how does that play out? Do I RP or tweet for the shows?
I'd say we are more the reverse of that actually. The results exist to further your character in the e-world as a whole. So instead of RPing and tweeting to win, the results more exist to give you more to work with for your character. Something to tweet or write about for that period of time. It is about seeing your character in action, what trouble they get into, and you working off that. It is a partnership.
I suppose you want me to write segments for the shows
Not necessarily ...but I do want your input into how your character is portrayed. More on that later. The truth is that I am more comfortable writing most of the shows on my own and letting your character's reactions in RP's and twitter dictate where I go next with the storylines. If you have something you want to include, I am more than okay with you writing something up and sending it via PM though, but it certainly isn't mandatory.
Is the fed bi-weekly or weekly?
Actually ...about that ...we are taking a slightly different approach to how angle e-fedding is done for several different reasons. The first is for the sake of trying to switch up and be experimental. You know, really stand out. The second is because of burn out. I need to be allowed to take my to get all of these together with the necessary breaks so I don't break. Remember, we are all adults and work full time and have lives, so putting results together every week or even every two weeks can be tasking. That is why I am working a "taped" schedule.
What is a taped schedule?
Essentially, it is six weeks on, six weeks off. I take six weeks to write, code and format four episodes. Once those six weeks are up, I post the episodes every week and while I'm doing that, I work on the big supercard/PPV that those episodes culminate in. So it is four weeks of regular television, then in two weeks the big card, then another six week break. Don't worry, I'll still provide other material and update in those "break" periods and you can definitely RP and tweet to keep the hype up. The fed will definitely NOT be silent during those off weeks.
How do I know what I am booked for
For the most part, the cards will be blind. With the exceptions of the big match cards (PPV's), you won't know what you are booked for. This means every week you will be surprised as to what your character will be involved in.
Will I be booked every card
No. Think of it like NXT or Lucha Underground. There will be three to four matches per regular television episode and thus, we can't get everyone a match on EVERY card. However, your character will be featured in one way or another on every show. Also, all wrestlers will be booked for our supercards. Everyone will have a storyline or feud going into those.
How will I make sure my wrestler is portrayed how I want them to be
In general, we have, in addition to the application, a form called "plotters." These let us know more about your character and what they will or will not do on the programs. How they speak, their body language, and anything else important. They aren't mandatory, but highly suggested.
So I have no control...
Absolutely not. I take into consideration your application, plotters, tweets, and RP's as to what YOU want for your character. With that said, ALWAYS feel free to PM me with ideas for your character. These are pre-written, but I can definitely add a segment or something last minute if that is something you want.
What is the IC feel of the company
I'd say it is a combination of different wrestling companies that I've enjoyed in the past or currently. The segment style will be more the Lucha Underground style, the show format will be like NXT, the booking will be in line with Attitude era, and we strive for a non-PC feel like ECW. I'm not a fan of the current WWE 50/50 booking system where the focus is only on getting one person over. I like every feud and storyline to have depth and weight ...and for everyone to mix in with each other.
I see a lot of women on the roster. Is this an all-female fed?
I'm going to say "no" here. While we have a lot of female wrestlers, I do feel that a door closes when you think exclusively to gender. Also, times are changing and gender is now being seen as more fluid. So yeah, we are intergender with equal opportunity for all.
Anything else?
No. That is it for right now. Check out the other threads in this section for rules about decorum and character limits.
