Okay, so since I'm typing and GFXing away at the results (also a novel I am working on) for the next few weeks, I figured I would go ahead and post a fun little topic for us to talk some shop on. Like with anything in this forum, I'm gaging opinion as much as I am seeing what you guys expect and want from the fed. What feuds and matches do you see transpiring? What do you think or hope the PPV card will look like? What do you think your or other characters might be up to? Just any kind of predictions or hopes you may have for this first crucial cycle.

For my character I don't expect to be challenging for the title but do hope their will be a good Feud to sink my teeth into. Something that is a challenge for him to develop further.
I don't expect Arbattage to challenge for the title yet - rather be tied up with a different challenge, and Max defending against someone else who has won the right too. What I want to see is some variety in the stories as well.
There's lots of ways you can go with the PPV, and it will be interesting to see how you deal with the Zaibatsu - only working together or separated into different stories? The tag team division as well - the Mimes and The Bucks will probably face off I reckon as established tag teams together.
Not getting a fork stuck in my head and being active in an actual match. But seriously, I'm fascinated with how Abattage and Mad Maxx will be used throughout the episodes and if they will be on a collision course or will they be pre-occupied elsewhere. After Abattage's complete slaughter of the roster, it is going to be interesting to see how he is booked for the upcoming episodes. Will he be vulnerable in an attempt to not make him so OP, or will he continue to be a jacked up movie monster. After winning the title, I am excited to see how Max is booked and handled because it doesn't seem that she is mere mortal either. But I seriously want to see more of Space Lord and how he is weaved in with the rest of the roster. Also, I cannot wait to see where this Eliza/ Gabrielle feud goes. A little raunchy for my tastes, but I would be lying if I didn't say I love the contrast between the two.
But really, I want to see more of the people who maybe didn't get as much of a spotlight in the first episode: Roxy, Belladonna, Halsey, Jaguar, and Rebel Revolution in particular.
The thing I liked about the pilot episode was how I was kept guessing how it would end. It was very engaging. I'm expecting more of that going forward. I don't know how I'd call it, in terms of looking ahead. I'd expect that, from the outset, Maxx and Abattage would seem to be an obvious match moving forward. I don't know how or what to comment on this topic, as I'm usually assuming to NOT have the character currently holding the belt :-P. So, I dunno. I'm working on an RP that expands the world around Maxx, and it's difficult to know what my preference would be as we move forward -- the storyline is still in its infancy in terms of the characters and how they fit together.
Frankly, the belt always becomes the focus, but it needn't be considering the wealth of story-beginnings/entryways just looking at the roster, not to mention the first show. Abattage looked monstrous and doesn't have the belt, and is arguably the one to beat at this point. Gabbi and Eliza looked to pretty well run across the whole show and I'm curious how that plays out. Will Eliza succumb to Gabbi's advances? Will a tag-team form of the two? That's my guess. A friendship/alliance that leads to an awkward partnership that climbs to the top of the tag division in the next couple of shows.
I think, also, Hannah Stanton has the most intriguing jumping off point. She wrought havoc over the whole show, I'd anticipate her and Abattage meeting in some form of encounter. Might Victor Baron see another monster to steer? I do see the makings of a great series of tag teams. And the Zaibatsu to cap off a division that could steal the spotlight, imo.
There's plkenty of thoughts to go around but this will start me off :-P
Yeah, as others have said, Abattage looked like a beast and there's plenty of matches/feuds for him there, based on the first episode. A Maxx confrontation, battle of monsters with Gojira but I'm really interested to see an Abattage/Gabby dynamic.
Webb was pretty fun, with plenty to do, and Hannah Stanton reminded me of another of my characters and her dad, so her unpredictability could be a fun thing to see where she aligns. I could see Webb annoying Hannah Kristiansen in a kind of "tough ex-military chick annoyed by a millenial chick" way. They come from such vastly different backgrounds that I can see them meshing well as a feud.
The Bucks would obviously make a great team but I can also see them feuding with one another at times for their mother's approval, which is a neat idea and not one that you see in most pro wrestling/efeds. It makes them feel like real people that way.
The Zaibatsu could well dominate but then Rebel Revolution might not allow that. Throw in the monkey wrench in the form of mimes and you have a fun notion there, as well. Space Lord had such a fantastic debut appearance that I absolutely want to see more of him. Can you imagine him joining Brianna for tea?
Jaguar looked like such a badass that I'm predicting he'll go above and beyond as time goes on and wind up as a hidden gem of WWU. Samson and Cal would be cool to see in a "face vs face" match, too
Eliza/Gabby was great in the pilot so more of that seems a good idea. I'm not sure how much further that could be taken. Apologies if I've left anybody out but some of the underrated characters from the pilot and some of the newer talent will absolutely shine as time goes on.
I can see Roxy Karlson and Webb feuding because in the chaos of the pilot, Roxy crushed Webb's phone. Maybe we could see them be the other odd couple of the company? (Next to Eliza and Gabs) I also see Blake Belladonna becoming a surprise star, since she's going to have a chip on her shoulder due to her being taken out before she had a chance to join in the Epic title fray
