Gimmick/Personality: A consummate professional of combat arts and technical wrestling, Sabra Pereira is a Afro-Brazilian American born to two immigrant parents who's interest in wrestling and kickboxing was prevalent from a young age. Working every odd job and summer job he could just to get enough cash for lessons or to watch the next big event on pay-per-view, Sabra knew there was no other future he'd accept than one inside a ring of some sort. And when he finally got the opportunity to hit it big, he recognized a pro-wrestling ring as the best place he could put everything he learned into practice. Earthing the nickname 'Jaguar' on the independent circuit, it quickly became the name he was most recognized by and thus fast became his ring name. Within the ring, Sabra is a fierce competitor with his head always in the game. He brings a ring general's mindset with him when he steps between the ropes, and conditions himself like a prizefighter to make sure he can endure and surpass any challenge.
Outside the ring, Jaguar is a fairly friendly individual who will happily stop to sign a few autographs and take a few pictures before heading back out on the road. Pereira is an easily admitted nerd, has a weekly podcast on his website 'Pereira.jaguar' where he talks about anime and video games, and has even gone so far as to style himself partially after one of his favorite video game characters. Sabra's hobby is competitive fighting games, and he finds time to attend tournaments like CEO and Evolution whenever possible.
In Ring Information:
Wrestling Style: MMA(Striker) / Technical Catch Wrestling. Sabra's kickboxing background involved training heavily in the arts of Muay Thai and Dojima-style Karate (which heavily focuses on counter-attacks). Such training has an enormous effect on his in-ring style, giving him a wide variety of strikes (kicks, punches, knees, elbows and even headbuts) to use as well as honed grappling techniques and the working instincts to turn the tables on an opponents advance. Once he decided that he was heading for a wrestling ring, he learned more intensive grappling and took a particular shine to the catch-wrestling style, focusing on linking grapples, submission holds and a movement style based on agility as well as pinpoint timing. Jaguar is built and conditioned like a prizefighter, keeping just enough weight to assist in enduring blows and possible holds while shedding anything in excess, which means the entirety of his body is made out of tightly corded muscle and has the 'carved from stone' look about it.
Commonly Used Moves:
Verious suplexes, including German, Tiger, Dragon, Classic Vertical, Belly to Belly, Overhead Belly to Belly and more ; All manner of strikes, though specifically fond of roundhouse kicks, jumping knees and knee lifts, backfists, body hooks, snap headbuts and spinning/rolling elbows. ; Gutwrench Backbreaker ; Boston Crab Variations ; STF ; Figure 4 ; Texas Cloverleaf ; Cobra Clutch ; Sleeperhoolds, specifically the Dragon Sleeper ; Full Nelson Slam ; Torture Rack and it's backbreaker variation ; Cutthroat Backbreaker ; Powerbombs, such as the Sitout and Gutwrench Variations ; Dropkicks from pretty much any imaginable angle and position ; Neckbreakers like the running, swinging and spinning variations ; DDTs, notably the impact, snap, running and reverse variations. ; And lastly, odds are if a submission hold exists he knows how to apply it.
Signature Moves:
Rolling Sobat; The Japanese term for a jumping spinning back kick, Jaguar has honed his delivery of this strike to focus overwhelmingly on speed and power. Seen either as the end of a series of blows or an out of nowhere comeback maneuver, the power behind the kick is more than enough to send most opponents sprawling backwards to the mat.
Series #1/King of Beasts Series ; Three interlinked suplexes, beginning with a dragon suplex rolled over from it's bridge with a tiger suplex following, rolled over again into what Sabra has termed the 'Jaguar Suplex', an overhead suplex from a standing Cobra Clutch hold.
Series #2/Capital Punishment Series ; beginning with a Double Rotation Spinebuster, instead of releasing his opponent after the impact Jaguar instead quickly hooks the legs of his grounded opponent over his shoulders and then deadlifts them up for a sitout powerbomb. Once the powerbomb connects jaguar releases the opponents legs and rolls backwards to his hands and knees. He then slides forward, taking each of his opponents legs into an armpit and stands to deliver a giant swing, making as many rotations as he can before releasing them for the impact.
Series #3/Death Row Series ; Two german suplex linked with a rollover, followed by an Electric Chair Drop. After the second German, Jaguar executes another rollover but tucks his head between the legs of his opponent from behind as part of the motion. Thus, when he stands, he has the opponent on his shoulders for a quick Electric Chair Drop.
Raging Jaguar ; A series of strikes. Raging Jaguar begins with sharp shoot kicks to the legs, specifically broadside of the shins and the back of the knees. These kicks escalate to sharp kicks to the waist before Jaguar lurches forward and locks the opponent in a Muay-Thai style Clinch. Three devastating knees to the abdomen follow until Jaguar releases the clinch but keeps a hold of both arms at the wrist. Jerking the opponent forward, jaguar meets their skull with his own with a harsh echoing headbutt, but the opponent is unable to stumble or fall because he still his a hold of them by the arms. Jaguar then releases one of the opponents arms and ends the series with a short-arm lariat that drives them to the ground.
Argentine Backbreaker ; pretty self explanatory no?
Iaijutsu Brazil ; A fast running chest blast with both palms, almost guaranteed to knock his opponent to the mat.
USJ (United States of Jaguar) Elbow ; A one-handed back handspring with a quick heel-turn into a running spinning elbow smash.

Finisher and Description:
Jaguar Driver ; Deceptively named, this maneuver is in fact a standing Cradle Neckbreaker, but was renamed the Jaguar Driver by fans with Sabra was wrestling in the indies. Though if there ever was a 'neckbreaker piledriver' it would indeed be this. Similar to the Muscle buster in the positioning of the opponent, but the opponent is not dropped to the mat on their back in a suplex like motion. Instead, jaguar grabs the opponent's legs by both heels and then jumps up to land on his feet, driving all of the opponent's own weight down on his shoulder but, because of the positioning ends up folding the opponents body like an accordion with their knock and shoulders taking the grand brunt of the impact and stress. Instead of landing on his feet, jaguar may also execute a sitout variation of the same maneuver.
RDC / Rolling Death Cradle ; A submission hold more or less unique to Jaguar, in that he did not create it but adapted it into actual practice. The Cradle begins as a standing chickenwing facelock, but a stomp to the back of his opponents knee and a yank backwards brings them both to the ground. jaguar then locks in a body scissors and makes sure to hook his heels into and underneath the lower-inner thighs of his opponent harshly, and then the front starts. Using the face lock as leverage, jaguar begins to roll his opponent and himself around the ring on their backs, contorting his opponents neck, arms and legs at strange angles in order to deal massive extended damage and drain the maximum amount of strength and fight out of his opponent. Every so often Jaguar will stop the rolling to see if the opponent wants to tap, but it's entirely possible the prolonged stress of the hold could result in a TKO. If the opponent is still conscious or refuses to give in, it's back to rolling he goes until the submission is successful or broken by some other means.
